Gunmen steal gold-silver in Mexico heist
Gunmen in Mexico have stolen have reportedly stolen an unknown quantity of gold-silver alloy bars from a desert mine at Mulatos mine in Northern Mexico.
It is gathered that the mine heist occurred on Wednessday morning when employees of the mine company, Minas de Oro Nacional, were preparing to load the bars of gold and silver alloy bars on a contracted plane at the mine's airstrip when five gunmen suddenly arrived.
They held up the security personnel at the mine and few minutes later, a plane arrived. They stashed up the gold onto the plane and fled into the mountains.
Authorities say investigations are underway are currently searching for airstrips in the area.
