Chadian government says it has done its best to fight Boko Haram
The President of Chad, Idris Deby, has stated that the Chadian army has done its part in the fight against Boko Haram and can't go further than what they have done.
This is coming five days after the Chadian army destroyed Boko Haram bases, in retaliation to the 98 Chadian soldiers that were killed in an attack orchestrated by Boko Haram.
In an interview at the Chadian State House, he stated that the Chadian army is not an army of occupation.
"We cleared Boko Haram from Nigeria towns. Their soldiers refuses to take over. We want the Nigerian troops to come and occupy, so we can advance. We are wasting time for the benefit of Boko Haram. We can't go any further in Nigeria. We are not an army of occupation," Idris Deby said.
