The speech that caused Emir Sanusi's dethronement (video)

Earlier today, the Kanu State Government dethroned Emir Sanusi and exiled him with immediate effect. 

The Governor of Kanu, Umar Ganduje, gave reasons that he was dethroned because of an alleged insubordination and breach of Kano Emirate law.

Those are widely believed to be political reasons. A video shared by a Twitter user, showed Sanusi criticizing the Ganduje government at Mo Ibrahim Foundation in 2017. This could have been the real reason why the Kanu State Government decided to go after the Emir. Watch the video below:
