Naked man chases pig after it snatched his belongings

While public nudity is an embraced culture in Germany, a German nudist had the last laugh on Saturday, 8th August has he had to chase a wild boar when it picked up his belongings while he was sunbathing.

The incident, which occurred at the Teufelssee in west Berlin, was captured on camera by a photographer, Adele Landauer, who uploaded it on Facebook with the approval of the man.

"Nature strikes back. I showed the man the photos, he laughed heartily and gave me permission to make it public," Adele captioned in a Facebook  picture.

The pigs, a wild boar and two piglets, had apparently saw pizza being eaten by sunbathers. So when the wild boar saw the nudist's yellow bag containing his laptop, it seized it, probably thinking it contained pizza and ran off.

The man, who had been sunbathing naked, noticed what was happening and started chasing the animal, as other sunbathers looked in amusement.

The man didn't catch the animal until when it entered the forest, where it was slowed down by a cardboard box in its path.

It was reported that the man had to chase the animal that far because it contained his laptop.

A witness said: "When he returned from the forest, everyone applauded him."

Yesterday at the lake in Berlin I saw a real hero. A female wild boar with two babies came out of the forest in order to search for food. In Berlin we are free people - we love to bathe in the sun and lake like we are born. So, there were many people laying on their towels completely naked. Many of us were scared but the wild boars seemed to be peaceful. After they ate a pizza from a backpack of a man who was taking a swim in the lake they were looking for a dessert. They found this yellow bag and decided to take it away. But the man who owned it realized it was the bag with his laptop. So, he was very focused and run behind the boars in order to get it back. Everyone of us adored him how focused he stayed and when he came back with his yellow bag in the hand we all clapped and congratulated him for his success. Public nudity is not an offense in Germany. It is known as "Freikorperkultur" meaning the free body culture. Germans say the purpose of it is to reshape behavior.
