She was taken to the hospital a month ago after she started showing some symptoms and then tested positive.
100-year-old Kamtim was discharged from the hospital she was being treated at in her hometown, Surabaya, after a whole month of receiving treatment.
According to her daughter-in-law, Sitti Aminah, who spoke to The Hindu, she committed to and "very motivated to get better."
“Every day I checked her condition with nurses and
they always told me that she was very strong and diligent about taking her
medicine,” Ms. Aminah said. “She was very motivated to get better,” Sitti Aminah said.
There are currently 26,473 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia, with 1,613 deaths and 7,308 recoveries.
