10-year-old boy allegedly shot by policeman enforcing lockdown orders in Jigawa

A Policeman enforcing the lockdown imposed in Jigawa has shot a 10-year-old boy on Monday.

According to SaharaReporters, who reported the story, the incident led to a pandemonium in Sankara community in Ringim Local Government Area where the incident occurred.

It is gathered that the youths have started protesting and the young boy, Usman Abdulkadir, is being treated at the hospital.

A resident, who spoke to the publication, said the policeman is notorious in the town for his brutality.
