The National Disaster for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 86 new cases of coronavirus, adding up to a total of 647 active cases in Nigeria.
The new cases were reported in Lagos, FCT, Kastina, Akwa Ibom, Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno. A total of 21 deaths have been recorded and 170 people have been discharged.
The virus has now spread to 22 out of 36 states in the country, with Lagos state currently being the epicenter of the virus with a total of 376 active cases.
