Four more people tests positive for coronavirus

Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Lagos state. This add up to a total of 12 people with coronavirus in Nigeria.

According to the Lagos State Ministry of Health, tests were performed for 19 people who had contact with the four people who tested positive on Wednesday. The result of the tests turned out positive.

They have been isolated for medical treatment at the Infectious Disease Centre in Yaba, Lagos.

The ministry stated that they are currently tracking 1300 Nigerians who might have contracted the virus.

The four newly confirmed cases includes:

• A Nigerian lady who had contact with an infected lady from the United Kingdom.
• A Nigerian female who returned from the France on March 14 through a Turkish airline flight (TK 1830).
• A Nigerian in his 50s who did not travel anywhere.
• A Nigerian man who returned from Frankfurt, Germany, on March 13 through a Lufthansa airline flight (LH568).
