Few days ago, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was attacked while attending a so called "New Yam Festival" in Germany by Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) members.
He has, however, returned to Abuja, Nigeria, on Monday at about 5pm, Daily Post reports.
It is gathered that the directive to attack Senator Ekweremadu was given by the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been on self-exile since 2017.
According to an IPOB spokesman, they will keep on attacking Igbo leaders that travel abroad, among them are Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Governor Okiezie Ikepazu of Abia State, Governor Ifeyani Ugwanyi of Enugu State.
