Cameras are not what burglars want to have anything to do with, but a group of home invaders were caught live on camera as they broke into a student's home in Ecuador while she was receiving online classes.
According to the webcam footage, the young woman, who has not been identified, can be seen as one of the 25 students that were receiving a Zoom online lecture on September 4, in her home in Ambato, Tungurahua.
All of a suddenly, she became distracted when she heard someone opening her door.
As she turns around and look at the door behind her, men, dressed as burglars, headed towards her direction and ordered her to stand up and started threatening her.
The rest of class didn't quickly note what was happening until they noticed that her microphone was turned off and she had moved away from the camera.
Then the students immideately called the police, as the burglars took away the laptop.
Thankfully, all the four burglars were arrested the same day the incident happened. The young woman was not injured at all.
The Ecuadorian Education Minister, Maria Romo, confirmed the incident on her Twitter page.
