Coronavirus: New cases confirmed in Abuja, Lagos and Rivers

Five more people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, adding up to a total number of 51 confirmed cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said two of the five confirmed cases are in Abuja and Lagos, while one is in Rivers.

This has risen the confirmed cases in Lagos to 31, Abuja to 10 and Rivers to 1.

Three of those who tested positive travelled into the country while the other two had close contact with an infected person.
