The annual 2020 Lagos City Marathon ended on Saturday with a couple emerging as the first Nigerian winners of the 42km race in their respective categories.
Emmanuel Gyang and his wife, Deborah Pam, had just gotten married three weeks ago. They emerged as first (Nigerian) finishers in their respective categories at the seventh edition of the Okpekpe 10km race.
Emmanuel Gyang finished 33rd overall with a time of 2:25:30 seconds, while his wife, Deborah Pam, finished 14th with a time of 2:45:17 seconds.
