Man rapes drunk woman in toilet, sentenced to six years

A British man has been sentenced to six years in prison for raping a drunk woman on a train toilet.

Timothy Boss, a care home manager, was on a train with his wife when he dragged the drunk woman into the toilet. While raping her, his wife, who was standing by the door, tried to open it but he told her he could not because he was 'comforting' the woman.

Boss told the police that the victim is lying and that the intercourse was consensual. But the CCTV footage that was played in court showed Boss leaving his and escorting the drunk woman. When they both entered the toilet, his wife was seen walking around the train, presumably looking for her husband.

Boss stated in court that he told his wife he was helping the drunk woman because he didn't want her to know he was having sex with another woman.

The victim is sadly suffering from the trauma of the event. She said ''her life was thrown into turmoil after the attack,'' which she was made to feel it was her own fault.
