Commotion errupts on board after passengers refused to wear face mask

There was a commotion on a flight from Amsterdam en route to Ibiza after two British passengers refused to wear a face coverings, despite the airline's mandatory face mask wearing policy.

In a video that was shared by an Instagram user, Michighclub, it was seen that the fight erupted soon after the plane took off on Friday, July 31.

As the men were throwing punch at each other, other passengers were rushing towards them to break off the fight.

A man's voice in the background was shouting: "There are kids here!"

After a while, one of the man was pinned to the floor till the rest of the flight. Both of the men were arrested by Spannish police when they arrived in Ibiza.

It also appeared that the men had been intoxicated with vodka, and that's why the refused to wear a face mask.

According to a spokesperson for the airline, 'the flight's safety was not endangered'.

"The pilot informed the local authorities and upon arrival, both passengers were arrested. The flight safety was not compromised during the flight," the spokesperson said.
