Coronavirus: Seventeen new cases confirmed
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed seventeen new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
This adds up to a total of 305 confirmed cases, with 58 discharges and 7 deaths.
In this latest report, Niger and Anambra states have their index case. Lagos confirmed cases continues to rise with an addition of 8 more cases, and with a total of 163 cases. The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja comes second with a total of 56 cases.
"Three cases previously included as Lagos state cases have been transferred to Ogun state. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos Therefore, Lagos State has reported 163 confirmed cases while Ogun State has reported 7 confirmed cases," the NCDC added on their official Twitter handle.
