This nine-year-old will be the world's youngest ever university graduate in December. He will be graduating from Eindhoven University of Technology with an electrical engineering degree.
Laurent Simons, who was born and studies in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is reported to have an IQ of at least 145, meaning he grabs things faster to his memory. He is planning to start his PhD in engineering while also studying for his medical degree.
Of course, nobody knows where Laurent's brilliancy comes from, but according to Laurent's mother, a 29-year-old office manager, said she ate a lot of fish when she was pregnant.
Laurent's talent was initially noticed by his grandparents who, at that time, thought they were training him, until Laurent's teachers started championing him by giving him series of tests. From there, they knew Laurent was special and talented.

The hyper-intelligent boy is from a family of doctors. His father, a 37-year-old dentist, said he is considering moving to the UK so that his son can complete his studies, but Laurent himself prefers studying in California because he loves the weather.
Laurent completed high school in 18 months( a year and half) at the age of 8. He then continued to university where he is studying for a degree in electrical engineering.
According to CNN, Laurent has hopes of becoming an astronaut or heart surgeon. His dream is to one day develop artificial organs.
The youngster has also caught the the attention of prestigious universities around the world, who offering him admission to continue his PhD.
Aside his academics, Laurent is just like all other typical kids. His parents makes sure that he is isn't too serious and has enough leisure time.
In an interview with CNN, Laurent said he loves playing video games on his phone, swimming and playing with his dog. He even plans on going to Japan for vacation before resuming back at school. He also loves using social media, he currently has 32,000plus followers.
